Joe Mazza is one of Chicago’s pre-eminent theatre and portrait photographers. He’s also my neighbor and friend. I’ve worked with him for years, bringing him in on behalf of the company I founded, Lakeside Shakespeare Theatre, to capture the images we use for posters and publicity. He’s an incredible joy to work with, and so when it was suggested I get some proper portraits done in advance of the premiere of THE RED LINE on CBS in 2019, and the attendant press, he was my first call.
